The 2023 NBA Draft is upon us as the association looks to add a talent who could be a generational talent in Victor Wimpanyama.
We know the 7-foot-5 Wimpanyama is headed to the San Antonio Spurs with the first overall pick, but who gets picked after him and which teams pick him up is still up in the air. Will the New Orleans Pelicans trade Zion Williamson or Brandon Ingram to move to second place so they can draft Scott Henderson? Are the Portland Trail Blazers ready to move on from the Damian Lillard era, or will they move to third place to get Lillard’s help? Are the Clippers ready to cut the bait on Paul George? Could we see players like Zach LaVine, Bam Adebayo or OG Anunoby wearing new uniforms by the end of Thursday night? No league shakes up rosters quite like the NBA, and we could see some seismic turnaround deals for the 2023-24 season and beyond go down in what should be a historic evening for the NBA. The festivities kick off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Which brings us to today’s contest. The NBA implemented a lottery system starting with the 1985 draft. Since then, 38 players have finished first overall, and Wimpanyama poised to be No. 39. So with that in mind, how many of the best overall picks from the NBA lottery era have Can you name it in five minutes?
good luck!
