After the Los Angeles Lakers failed to eliminate the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night at the Chase Center, LeBron James and company will return to the Crypto.com Arena for Game 6, hoping to end the streak and advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Despite the loss in Game 5, the Lakers are still in complete control of this series, as the Warriors need to win the next two games to advance.
However, the pressure will be on the Lakers, as the last thing the team wants to do is head back to San Francisco for Game 7.
With the Lakers missing the opportunity to finish the Warriors’ title defense, Fox Sports’ Joy Taylor believes there’s added pressure on James, but he’s been in this situation many times in the past.

A major concern for the Lakers heading into Game 6 in Los Angeles is the health of perennial All-Star Anthony Davis.
Davis fell in Game 5 after being elbowed to the head by Kevon Looney, leaving the star forward dizzy and forcing him to miss the rest of the game while he was assessed for what many thought was a concussion.
Luckily for Los Angeles, Davis is expected to play in Game 6, which is a huge relief for the NBA series, but there’s no telling what version of a superstar they’ll get on Friday night.
Game 6 of this second-round series will be must-watch television, with none of these teams ready to end their season.
