The Denver Nuggets won the 2022-23 NBA Championship after defeating the Miami Heat 4-1 in the Finals.
The Joker had a historic performance in the playoffs, leading Denver to its first-ever title.
But last year, that wasn’t the case. The Nuggets were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the eventual champions, the Warriors (4-1). We bring you back to what NBA Twitter said about the Nuggets and Nikola Jokic at that time.

Before this season even started, I just assumed that Jamal Murray would return at some point. He obviously didn’t know Michael Porter would get hurt and miss the entire season either. This Nuggets team has a 48-win record, and the distance competition against a healthy Warriors team is fierce.
