As the NBA champion for the first time yet Nuggetsnba finals victory, Jeff Green Well spent Thursday I live it during the team championship parade.

The 36-year-old Green paid tribute to his first NBA home, Seattle, by wearing a hat emblazoned with the now defunct Supersonics logo, who were thunder since 2008. Long before he became known as Uncle Jeff, Green earned a reputation as a master gun alongside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, averaging 14.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game with the Sonics/Thunder from ’07 to early 2011.
Unfortunately, Green, who was traded to Boston in February 2011, faced a major setback in January 2012 when he underwent open-heart surgery.
After missing the entire 2011-12 season, Green returned to start the next season and went on to play for nine teams over the next 10 years before joining Denver in August 2021. Now, with Green playing in more than 1,200 career games, he can finally say He is the NBA champion.
