With reports of the Los Angeles Clippers making calls for Paul George, it wouldn’t be crazy to see him move at some point during the NBA draft.
Despite his recent past with injuries, George is still one of the key players in this league, and he should have no shortage of suitors.
With that in mind, Ian Begley reports (via NBACentral) that the New York Knicks have already had some exploratory talks with the Clippers about possibly trading George.

The Knicks have been in the market for a superstar for quite a while now, and they often come off when they’re swinging for the fences.
And one might argue that this is not the best time to trade for George, given his age and injury history.
However, the Knicks may not have another chance to snag a player of his caliber for long, and they have more than enough assets to make it happen.
George is not damaged goods by any means.
He almost led the Clippers to the NBA Finals when Kawhi Leonard went down with another injury just two seasons ago.
He could not be on the floor at the end of last season due to a knee injury, but he is expected to be healthy at the start of next season.
That’s probably why the Clippers know it’s time to transfer him, as they’ll get much better value in return from Kohei, who is rarely healthy.
Trading for George involves some risk, but the upside is more than impressive too.
