The Grizzlies announced Sunday that they have indefinitely suspended the 2020 Rookie of the Year from all team activities after posting a video to Instagram in which Morant is seen in the passenger seat of a car appearing to briefly brandish a gun.
The latest incident comes two months after Morant was first suspended during the 2022-23 season after another video clip showed the 23-year-old holding a gun in a crowded Colorado nightclub. The two-time All-Star later apologized and said he would take time away from the game to better learn how to handle stress.
The Browns are arguably the largest NBA bankruptcy project in league history.
The 41-year-old was selected first overall out of high school by the Washington Wizards in 2001, and while his career lasted 12 seasons, he never lived up to the hype. Brown averaged 6.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 22.1 minutes per game across 607 regular season contests (281 starts), while playing for seven different teams.
