For much of the regular season, the Miami Heat were considered mediocre at best.
Few people thought they’d have such a powerful impact on the playoffs – if they made them at all.
Now, they are so close to making it back to the Finals and have blown away the entire NBA fan base.
How did they do it?
There are a lot of reasons they have had such success in the postseason but one of them is their 3-point shooting.
StatMuse highlighted the fact that many of the stars on the team have improved their 3-point shooting.
Duncan Robinson moved from 32.8% of downtown to 44.7%.
Caleb Martin improved from 35.6% to 41.5%, while Gabe Vincent improved from 33.4% to 38%.
Kevin Love, Max Strus, and Kyle Lowry have also developed their games from downtown.
Because of this, the Heat developed from 27th in a three-point ratio to first.

The Heat has shocked many who didn’t think they would be knocked out in the opening round.
At the start of the playoffs, the Heat were struggling to make it past playoff games.
Now they are about to enter another final.
At home and on the road, off the perimeter and in the paint, The Heat outlasted all of their opponents.
The most impressive thing about the team is how deep their roster is.
As can be seen from the list above, there are many stars who do well in the playoffs.
While Jimmy Butler may be the leader of the Heat, he has many players and stars who are ready to play hard from across the court.
The Heat have improved in practically every way, but their production from behind the three-point line is perhaps the most impressive.
