Ty Lue said the Los Angeles Clippers will not rush Paul George back into the lineup as the forward remains out with a sprained knee.
“Even if he tries to come back and he’s not right, we won’t let him go because we won’t let him hurt himself and make him worse than he already is,” Lue said.
George was injured on March 21st. The team said last week that there is currently no timeline for George’s return.
“When he comes back, we’ll make sure he’s close to 100 percent without him being able to hurt himself any more,” Lowe added.
Game 1 of the Clippers series is against the Suns on Sunday.
