The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 6.
The team just couldn’t make the shots when it mattered most and struggled for a good chunk of the series with consistency.
Klay Thompson belongs in that group, as he has struggled mightily in the last three games of this series.

This was a very bad series for Thompson. He struggled to find any kind of rhythm.
Many thought Thompson was pushing too hard.
Thompson refuted this and said his shots simply did not fall.
“I don’t think I was pressing. I just think the bullets didn’t go through.”

It is now are reported It is expected that the Warriors will ask Thompson to take a pay cut upon his next contract extension.
Just like Thompson, Jordan Paul was another player who struggled in this series, scoring more errors than field goals in the last five games of the series.

This is shocking, but it also shows that Paul wasn’t the same player as last year.
There are now a lot of question marks in the future of The Warriors.
Steve Kerr admitted that this wasn’t a championship group, especially after all the things they put up with during the season.
The Lakers season has seen the opposite as it now looks like a team that could win the NBA championship.
