After the Hawks lost 129-121, Murray appeared to confront Gediminas Petritis, one of the officials, as he left the court.
The seventh-year guard bumped his chest into the referee’s right shoulder and stared directly at the referee while doing so. He continued to stare down at Tritis as he walked into the tunnel.

He also appears to be saying something to Petritis, though the audio from the incident is still not available.
After the shock, Murray pointed to the opposite stands while yelling and had to be stopped by a Hawks player and employee.
Murray didn’t talk about post-game availability.
If the NBA deems the bump to be intentional, Murray could face suspension. Although there is no significant precedent for this type of incident, Rajon Rondo, while on the Celtics, was suspended for a game in 2012 after colliding with an official during a playoff series against the Hawks.
Murray averaged 25.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists in four games of this series.
After losing to the Celtics on Sunday, the Hawks fell 3-1 in the first-round series and are set to head to Boston for Game 5 on Tuesday.
