The departure of former Clippers general manager Michael Wenger has prompted these changes. After a six-year stint, Wenger left the Clippers two weeks ago to take over as president of the Washington Wizards.
Redden has served as the Associate General Manager of the Clippers since his arrival in 2017. Prior to his time with the Clippers, he spent 11 years with the Clippers.
Hughes is a former player who played for the Detroit Pistons in the early 1990s. He joined the Clippers with Redden in 2017. Hughes also previously served as an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic and Sacramento Kings earlier in his career.
The 2022-23 Clippers concluded with a loss to the Phoenix Suns in the opening round of the playoffs.
