With the NBA Draft Lottery set to take place on May 16, the conversation about the NBA draft will begin to heat up in the coming weeks. After a stellar rookie season, Ohio State forward Bryce Sensabaugh is a name expected to be announced in the first round on draft night.
Sensabaugh arrives on campus with the name The No. 6 and No. 18 junior forward in the Class of 2022. He was expected to make an impact as a freshman, but not exactly the extravagance he ended up with.
He started the season coming off the bench, but it was clear from the start of the season that Sensabü was a very good shot-creator and top scorer.

The Buckeyes relied heavily on Sensabaugh in a disappointing season last year. While going 16-19 overall, Sensabaugh was a consistent bright spot for the Buckeyes. He had double figures in 29 of 33 games and finished the season as the team’s leading scorer with 16.3 points per game.

Choose projection
Fourteenth overall for the New Orleans Pelicans
analysis
Brian Kalbrowski from USA Today’s “For The Win.” He has Sensabaugh’s highest projection, knocked off the plate in the lottery in this mock draft. Kalbrowski calls Sensabaugh, “a truly effective three-pointer and was one of the most prolific two-pointer shot makers in college basketball.”
In the end, based on those four dummy drafts, Sensabaugh’s current range appears to be a late-lottery ceiling and a late-first-round floor.
