Pierre Lebrun from The Athletic: Carolina Hurricanes GM Don Waddell will make contract extensions for Sebastian Aho a priority this offseason. There is one year left on his contract and he is eligible for an extension on July 1st.
Believe that Aho wants to stay in Carolina. I think the Hurricanes are going to be looking for an eight-year deal. Two years ago he got Aho’s agent, Jerry Johansson Bryden Point An eight-year deal with a maximum value of $9.5 million. The Hurricanes might hope for less than $9.5 million.
