As the world waits to see where Damian Lillard plays next season, Miami Heat guard Tyler Hero looks set to take his talents somewhere besides South Beach. Herro’s name has popped up frequently in trade rumors, not only in the Lillard deal but in other potential offers as well, and over the weekend he removed all mentions of his current team from his Twitter account. Sure, that’s not always a reliable indicator that a deal is imminent, but given that Miami has made it all the way to the NBA Finals with the former Sixth Man of the Year out with an injury, Pat Riley and the rest of the front office can probably feel a bit relieved. On the move from a player who was once considered a vital part of his core. Stay tuned.
Which brings us to today’s contest. The NBA Sixth Man of the Year award recognizes a player who makes invaluable bench contributions over the course of a season, much as Herro did during his time in the association. With that in mind, how many former winners can you name in five minutes?
good luck!
