The 6-foot-7 guard has made official visits to Miami, Auburn, and Missouri and told us so Jeffrey Lee of On 3 He hopes to make his decision “within the next 2-3 weeks”.
The trip was a comeback for him after he visited the plains during his high school recruit. The Alpharetta, Georgia native is now much older and admitted that it has changed his perspective.
“It was different because I’m older,” he told me. “My view of things has changed a bit. I’m more mature now, so it’s different in that sense.”
One thing that caught his eye was Auburn’s success with players from the Atlanta area, just like himself.
Jabari Smith, Walker Kessler, Isaac Okoro, Tchoma Okeke, and Shreve Cooper all came through Auburn before making the jump to the NBA.
Cleveland averaged 13.8 points and 7.4 rebounds last season. He shot 44.5% from the field and 35% from depth in 30 games.
