The National Basketball Association (NBA) recently announced a list of 36 officials who have been awarded places to work in the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
The same group also included the management staff for the 2023 NBA Play-In Championship.
“Qualifying for the postseason is the goal of NBA coaches and players, and the same goes for NBA officials,” said Byron Spruell, NBA President, League Operations. “Congratulations to this group of 36 officials for their accomplishments on the court and their selection to serve in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.”
Here is the list of officials for the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs:
Ray Acosta, Brent Barnacki, Curtis Blair, Tony Brothers, Nick Buchert, Sean Corbin, Kevin Cutler, Eric Dahlin, Mark Davis, JB DeRosa, Mitchell Ervin, Tyler Ford, Brian Forte, Scott Foster, Pat Fraher, Jacin Goebel, John Goebel, David Guthrie, Bill Kennedy, Courtney Kirkland, Carl Lane, Eric Lewis, Mark Lindsay, Trey Maddox, Ed Malloy, Rodney Mott, Gediminas Petritis, Kevin Scott, Aaron Smith, Michael Smith, Ben Taylor, Josh Tiven, Justin Van Duyn , James Williams, Shawn Wright and Zack Zarpa.
Ray Acosta and Aaron Smith made their debuts as members of the playoff team.
The following referees are alternates for the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs:
Lauren Holtkamp, Ashley Muir-Gleich, Natalie Sago, Diederick Taylor and Scott Tvardowski.
