Former Charlotte Hornets guard LiAngelo Ball, 24, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Nikki Mudarris, 32, from VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” The 6-foot-5 bouncer announced the news to his millions of Instagram followers Friday afternoon.
“Thank you so much @people for giving us this platform to share this amazing news with the world. My partner and I are excited for this next chapter of our journey once we become parents!!” Ball posted.
According to a few NBA betting sites, the Hornets have a 12.5% chance of taking first place in the 2023 NBA sweepstakes. Check sportsbooks that show higher odds for the Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs rivalries.
The teacher left a message under Ball’s Instagram post. “I don’t want to bring our angel into this world with anyone else. I love you,” the reality TV star wrote.
Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball, LaMelo’s older brother, already has a child. So, that means LaVar Ball, LiAngelo’s father, is once again a grandfather. Zo and Hornets star LaMelo Ball, younger brother of LiAngelo, are now uncles.
“We’re both so excited to be parents, we talked about having a life and kids when we first met, our goals, our dreams, the life we wanted and then it really happened,” the couple told People.
They added, “We can’t wait to meet our baby and start this new chapter together.” “It’s so exciting for us to be parents for the first time and to be able to experience everything together.”
Greensboro Swarm guard LiAngelo Ball is expecting first child with girlfriend Nikki Mudarris from VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood
LiAngelo Ball went undrafted in 2018. Furthermore, the guard signed a deal with the Detroit Pistons in late 2020, but he was waived before the start of the 2020-21 season.
“When I told my mom and pops, they were a little shocked, but I think it was more excitement than anything else,” Paul said. “My mom was screaming and cheering in excitement. When I told my siblings, they were so happy for me and so excited to be new uncles to my offspring.”
Mudarris broke the news of her private relationship with Paul last September. Based on a series of Instagram posts, the bouncer first started dating his girlfriend over the summer. USC grad Mudris didn’t drop any names at the time, but she did post a photo of the ball getting ready for a practice.
“I’m very private with my love life, but I’m open with my relationship because my man doesn’t want you, so girls please don’t even try to embarrass yourself. It won’t happen. That’s me,” Nikki Modris wrote in an Instagram story. Rumor has it that Paul plans to propose to his girlfriend in the coming months.
In the 2021 NBA G League Draft, Ball was selected 14th overall by the Greensboro Swarm, Charlotte’s G League affiliate. Then the California native signed a contract with the Hornets this past September. However, the guard was waived after a month.
In 28 games with Greensboro in the 2021-22 season, Ball averaged 4.6 points, 1.1 rebounds and 13.2 minutes per game while shooting 39.5% from the field and 35.7% outside the arc. This past regular season, the guard posted 2.3 points, 1.0 rebounds and 11.7 minutes per contest in three games off the bench.
