It was a shocking Game 1 loss for Celtics who fell in 76ers Without MVP Joel Embiid on Monday. There was a lot of blame going on in the 119-115 loss at home, and Boston coach Joe Mazzola got his fair share of criticism for his perceived lack of adjustments throughout the contest, leading James Harden to score 45 points.
But the Celtics turned the script in Game Two on Wednesday, obliterating Philadelphia 121-87 on Embiid’s comeback from a sprained knee. Not to mention, Harden only had 12 points on 2-for-14 shooting from the court. After the win, Mazzulla couldn’t help but take an inaccurate shot at members of the media when they finished asking questions.
Joe Mazzola drops the mic to end his press conference.

“Nobody wants to ask about all the mods we made from Game 1 to Game 2?” he asked before leaving.
It was a definite drop at the mic with some schadenfreude to boot. Despite the big win, Mazzola was as strong as ever, saying his team was “angry” and “angry” after losing their first game. Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN.
