After taking the league by storm with a 12-6 start to the NBA season, the Utah Jazz eventually fell back into reality, ending the year with a 37-45 record. Here are four jazz players whose stock is trending either up or down:

Ochai Agbaji, G: A relative after considering a trade for Donovan Mitchell, Agbaji’s tenure at Utah wasn’t one of the smoothest of beginnings. The former Big 12 Player of the Year started his rookie year in the suburban rotation of the Jazz and moved around the G League for multiple stints.
He eventually became a regular in Utah’s rotation on January 5. Since then he has never looked back, hitting 36.7% of his shots from three games remaining and starting the last 20 games of the season. Agbaje has scored more than 19 points in five of the last 12 competitions at Utah and is currently on the starting team’s 2023-24 shooting guard.
Laurie Markkanen, P: It doesn’t get any clearer than this choice. The most improved player in the league, Markkanen is fresh off a prolific campaign as he sets a new career high in points with 25.6 per game – up 10.2 ppg from his career average for the season. He also posted a 39.1% 3 point percentage, 8.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
