Per Boston.com:
“It was just an awful game when my team needed me the most,” said Brown. “J.T. hit his ankle for the first time in the game and you could see swelling on him. He couldn’t move up there. It was hard for him. My team turned to me to make the plays and I just won the play.”
The Browns shot 8-23 total, including 1-9 from three, for the game. Three more assists for him. While he was on offense, the Celtics’ offense petered out and he couldn’t produce enough open shots to catch Miami.
Boston’s 84 points were the fewest in a postseason game.
“Offensively, it looked like we couldn’t take a shot,” Brown said. “It’s got more pressure on our defence. We had a bunch of good looks and nothing happened. We all have to sit back and think about that.”
