When Tyler Hero broke his hand in Game 1 of a first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks, few expected the Miami Heat’s season to last long enough to give him a chance at a comeback. Of course, the Heat is now about to play Game 7 of the Easter Conference Finals after a historic playoff run. They made the playoffs through the tournament, then became the fifth eighth seed to dethrone the top seed.
Then they beat the New York Knicks in six games and jumped out to a 3-0 lead against the Boston Celtics, the team with the second-best record in the NBA. Now they’re facing a 7-or-die game and could use all the help they can get, but what about putting Herro, the third scorer?
Tyler hero full injury status
Herro was allowed to resume offline basketball action on May 23, giving him a small chance of a comeback in the NBA Finals, assuming they make it that far. However, The Heat have arguably played better without him, thanks in large part to Jimmy Butler, and dropping him into a tournament clicking on all cylinders could be risky.
When will Tyler Hero play?
With only eight games maximum remaining in the season, Herro is unlikely to return to the floor this season. That means we’ll have to wait until next season to see Herro play again.

What time is Game 7 between the Heat and Celtics?
Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals will be held in Boston, where the Celtics are likely to win. After losing three straight games, the Heat are on the verge of becoming the first team in NBA history to lose a series of seven games after leading 3-0. That adds extra pressure to a team that was an underdog during the NBA Playoffs run. This is the schedule for Game 7:
Game 7: @ Celtics Monday, June 12th at 8:30 PM EST
Overall, while the Heat managed to extend their season by several weeks, Herro may not have enough time to make a comeback during the Eastern Conference Finals. Fortunately, the Heat haven’t missed a step without Herro and they have a shot at winning their fourth championship in team history.
