The Denver Nuggets were in control of Game Two. Duncan Robinson had other ideas.
The Heat’s reserve forward sparked a fourth quarter that saw Miami rally to a 111-108 win in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday. The series moves to Miami Wednesday, tied 1-1.
After an 18 third-quarter score from Nikola Jokic, Denver entered fourth with an 83-75 lead. But Robinson — who entered the final quarter scoreless — went ahead 8-2 to start the segment and cut Denver’s lead to 85-83. And then 12-0 in Miami, the Heat took a 90-85 lead. They were never late again.
