The saying goes you don’t have a series in the NBA playoffs until a team wins a game on the road, and despite the fact that Games 1 and 2 were dominated by the Boston Celtics at home, the The Atlanta Hawks showed signs of life in their home stadium, and won Game 3 convincingly.
Did the Hawks find the formula to beat the Celtics, or was this just a team desperate to beat a bat that dropped their guard enough to be fatal after they built up a 2-0 series lead? Can Atlanta win another one at home and tie the series to six or even seven games?
What, if any, would have to change in order for Boston to win the Series? What went wrong at State Farm Arena on Friday night? And how does Boston’s road to the Finals look in light of everything else going on in the league?
The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast (powered by Fan Duel and BetterHelp) caught up with CLNS Media Network founder Nick Gelso to talk him down, as well as get caught up in league news in general.
