For years, Dwyane Wade has dominated the NBA hardwood like few players have been able to do.
Then, the three-time NBA champion took his talents to the front office, becoming a minority owner of the Utah Jazz.
Now, Wade is looking to take another step forward in the basketball industry, recently confirming his interest in investing in the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, as SportsCenter noted on Twitter.

Wade has stated that he has not made a decision on whether or not to put his money there, but he has been present at training and is said to have been in contact with the team’s ownership for a long time now.
The legendary shooting guard found success as a businessman after his illustrious career in the National Basketball Association.
Wade made it to the league as part of the legendary 2003 NBA draft, with the Miami Heat finishing fifth overall, shortly behind LeBron James, Darko Milicic, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh.
It wasn’t long before Wade led the Heat to their first NBA championship in franchise history, and later agreed to embrace a slightly lower profile role to make room for LeBron and Bosh, making it four more trips to the NBA Finals and winning two more rings.
Wade eventually left South Beach and had short stints with the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers before returning home for his bye season.
But even after all he gave to the basketball game, he still wanted to be associated with it.
