The Miami Heat fell 2-1 in the NBA Finals to the Denver Nuggets, and suddenly their championship hopes were in jeopardy.
They took Game 2 in Denver after trailing by double digits, and after that, there was a sense that they might have had a slight advantage in the series moving forward.
But after dropping Game 3, 109-94, the Heat is in the familiar position of being an underdog.
For pitcher Duncan Robinson, he may be about to lose another championship.
He lost in the NCAA Division III Title Round and Division I Tournament, as well as in the 2020 NBA Finals.

Robinson is one of several underrated players who have been a huge key to Miami’s success over the past few years.
While Jimmy Butler and Pam Adebayo were their big stars, Robinson, Gabe Vincent, Max Stross and Caleb Martin, who all went undrafted, were probably their most important players.
Robinson had a dismal regular season, averaging 6.4 points per game, shooting just 37.1 percent overall and 32.8 percent from 3-point range while seeing his playing time drop dramatically.
Just two seasons ago, he hit 40.8% on his 3-point attempts, and the season prior to that, it was 44.6% from beyond the arc.
However, in the playoffs this year, Robinson got hot by hitting 44.3 percent from downtown.
He’s shot well in the last two games, and Miami will need him and his other complement players to rally for a very decisive victory in Game 4.
