Drew Timm, a 6-foot-10 center who played four seasons of college ball at Gonzaga University, was one of the most interesting senior players in the 2023 NBA draft.
But for some reason, he went nowhere, despite putting up 21.2 points a game on 61.6 percent shooting last season for the Bulldogs.
However, Timme will get a chance to prove he belongs in the NBA, as the Milwaukee Bucks have decided to offer him an Exhibit 10 deal as an unoccupied free agent, according to Shams Charania.

An Exhibit 10 contract allows an NBA team to evaluate a prospect and possibly turn him into a two-way deal while committing to the league’s minimum salary only for him.
Timme grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and first attracted the attention of scouts in high school.
He came off the bench with Gonzaga as a freshman, but broke into the starting lineup the following year and excelled from that point on.
He is a capable scorer with his back to the basket, and also has an offensive midrange game.
The strikes against Timmy are that he is a bit unsportsmanlike, and not a very good defender; Plus, he doesn’t have much of a 3 point to speak of.
For the Bucks, Brook Lopez, the starting center and key member of their roster for the past five years, is about to become a free agent, and there’s a chance he could leave.
If Timme decides to move out, perhaps he can help fill the void that would be created if Lopez decided to sign with a different team.
