The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors had a difficult start to the NBA playoffs, as the team was on the brink of elimination against the rival Sacramento Kings in the first round and lost the first game of the second round against Los Angeles. Lakers.
Despite dropping Game 1 at home to the visiting Lakers, the Warriors bounced back with a vengeance in Game 2, pulling off a 27-point victory to even the series at one game apiece.
On his podcast, veteran forward Draymond Green talks about how much he’s learned from Warriors coach Steve Kerr this year and how it’s affected him and his team via The Volume.
“Just like losers over people, winners triumph over people. And we have the luxury of having one of the best winners in NBA history”

Before becoming an NBA head coach, Kerr achieved great success as a player during his stints with the Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs, learning from two of the greatest coaches in the history of the game.
Besides playing alongside Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan throughout his career, Kerr has absorbed knowledge from Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich to transition into coaching, as few of them succeed.
Kerr is one of the few coaches who have managed to hold down their careers for so long in the NBA, Popovich and Erik Spoelstra were the others who were able to stand the test of time.
Head coaches come and go in the NBA, as was demonstrated recently when the Milwaukee Bucks fired Mike Budenholzer after he collapsed in the first round.
Kerr is an exception and continues to be strong as he works towards winning his fifth Warriors title.
