Conor McGregor was in attendance for Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets, and he did more than just promote a product.
After shaking hands and laughing with other sports stars on the field like Odell Beckham Jr. , McGregor got into some physical antics with Miami Heat Burnie mascot at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
McGregor’s appearance included a center court promotion of TIDL, a cryotherapy spray for pain relief. However, while McGregor was doing his job for the Miami Heat manager, Burney walked up to McGregor while wearing a pair of giant golden boxing gloves.
Once McGregor realized he was being challenged by a furry fireball portrayal, Burney crouched down with a left hand that nearly brushed the mascot’s head. Bernie lay motionless on the court, and the staff dragged the unconscious 7’6 mascot into the locker room.

While McGregor has no problem having fun and throwing hands with the NBA mascots, there are plenty of UFC fans still waiting for his return to the Octagon.
The former Division II champ was a trainer in the current season of “The Ultimate Fighter Season 31” opposite Michael Chandler. The duo was rumored to fight in the postseason, but no date has been set.
