After making the successful trade for superstar Kevin Durant during the 2022-23 regular season and recently acquiring sharpshooter Bradley Bell in a deal with the Washington Wizards, the Phoenix Suns may not be done yet, with plenty of holes to fill before next season.
Unfortunately for Phoenix, they ran out of business assets after those two huge deals bringing in Durant and Bell, but the team could still move center Deandre Ayton.
Before the Suns traded for Beal, the only Phoenix player who was thought to be moving was Ayton, as he was not getting along with former head coach Monty Williams and was clearly unhappy with his role on the team.
However, the team was reluctant to part with him in the Bale deal, which led many to believe he could be headed elsewhere in a deal to help cement the bench at Phoenix.
Fox Sports’ Colin Cord thinks the New York Knicks would be a good fit for Ayton.

The Knicks are coming off a season in which the team did better than expected, with the signing of star point guard Jalen Bronson a game-changer for New York, resulting in a playoff appearance.
Despite a disappointing second-round exit in the postseason, the Knicks have reason for optimism going forward, but Bronson needs more talent around him, and including Ayton could be a good start.
The real question is what New York will have to give up in the trade, and will that mean having to part with All-Star forward Julius Randle, which could be a break for the Knicks.
