The Sacramento Kings entered the first round of the playoffs with high hopes against the Golden State Warriors.
With four games in the books in this series, the Kings have proven they can compete with the Warriors and may finally be the best all-around team right now, but Sacramento suffered a major blow on Monday that could change everything.
It was reported Monday that star DI Aaron Fox suffered a left hand injury that changed his condition to questionable in Game 5 at Gold 1 in Sacramento.
Fox Sports’ Chris Broussard believes this injury could advance the Warriors to the next round via First Things First.
“I thought Golden State was going to win this series anyway. They should definitely win the series by now. Throughout the history of the NBA, injuries have played a role in championships.”

The NBA playoffs have seen plenty of injuries thus far, with some of the league’s best and brightest in both conferences dealing with injuries in the first round.
Fox is the latest high-profile name to be added to a long list of injured stars, which include Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Giannis Antetekounmpo and Joel Embiid.
It remains to be seen how severe this injury will be and whether it will really affect Fox’s playing style and confidence on the basketball floor.
However, with those two teams evenly matched, Fox not being 100% for the rest of the series could be all that is needed for the scales to tip in the Warriors’ direction, which means Golden State could take over in Game 5.
This is an unfortunate development for the Kings after giving the Warriors everything they can handle in this series, but it’s not over yet, as Fox can overcome this injury to help his team advance.
