Anthony Davis led with 30 points and 23 rebounds Lakers After the Warriors in the first game of the second round series on Tuesday night.
According to Charles Barkley on TNT’s massive post-game show, more similar performances are on the way for the Lakers big man, as long as Davis is as excited as he was in Game 1.
“He listens, [Kevon] Looney is a good player, but he doesn’t have the speed to try and protect AD and Draymond [Green] Barclay said. “If he’s excited, [Davis] You will get this in every game.”

Davis had a strong first-round series against the Grizzlies, averaging 21 points and 14 rebounds with five double-doubles in the six-game series. He also carried a heavy minutes load, including playing nearly 44 minutes against the Warriors in Game 1.
Barkley’s view on the Warriors’ path to winning the series despite Davis’ dominance: Win the three-point battle.
“It’s going to go down to, can Golden State make enough threes to make up for it?” Barclay said.
Game 2 of the series is on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
