The Boston Celtics have signed O’Shea Brissett to a two-year contract with a second-year player option, according to The Guardian. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. for every Keith Smith from Spottrackthe transaction will be minimal.

Brissett has spent the past three seasons with the Indiana Pacers After starting his career with Toronto Raptors. The 6-foot-7 forward saw the Pacers dwindle as they slowly added an abundance of talent at his position.
Last season, Brissett appeared in 65 games with Indiana, playing 16.7 minutes per contest — the fewest minutes in his three seasons with the Pacers. He averaged 6.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game while shooting 38.6% from the field and 31.0% from behind the three-point line.
Three-point shooting has declined over the years. Brissett is a 34.4% shooter from depths but hasn’t been able to stay consistent from the range.
However, Celtics fans may remember the 25-year-old for being the temporary “killer of the Celtics,” as he lost 27 points (the third most in a single game) against Boston on February 27, 2022. Brissett scored six. Three-pointers, a career high, added six rebounds to his total as well. After the loss, Boston went 15-4 to finish the season and proceeded to run to the NBA Finals.
