After splitting time last year with the Lakers and Bulls, Beverley signed a one-year contract extension with Philadelphia upon the opening of free agency. Currently, he’s Harden’s backup on the depth chart, and he’s clearly very comfortable with the role if Harden returns.
The last time Harden and Beverley played each other, they totaled more than 30 minutes per game in the 2016-17 Rockets, a team that lost in the Western Conference Semifinals. However, both players are still searching for their first NBA title.
