Professional kickboxer Ulric Bokeme lost more than just a bout on Saturday afternoon (June 17, 2023) at GLORY Collision 5 inside Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, as the 32-year-old lost his front teeth in a TKO loss to Michael Bawahi.
After a few minutes of back and forth movement, the middleweight had a normal exchange of blows. Bucemi immediately looked annoyed by something and signaled to the referee that something was wrong with his mouthpiece. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Bokeme lost multiple front teeth from Boahpeah’s punches.
It was an offbeat scene to say the least, and one that caught fighting fans by surprise. After seeing Bukemi’s teeth missing from his mouth, the referee had no choice but to call the fight. Boahpeah walked away with a first round TKO victory leaving Bucemi to find his teeth on the canvas. He also told his corner after the heavy loss that he swallowed a few.
Check out the final moments above, and the aftermath below:

We’ve seen some gruesome dental injuries over the years. That would include Anthony Smith’s brutal TKO loss to Glover Teixeira a few years back where he bared his teeth into the referee mid-fight. But after seeing the effects of Pokemon’s mouth on Saturday, this one might just take the cake.
