Former flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko gleefully shut down a fan during a question-and-answer session ahead of UFC 289 this weekend – opposing giving her former number on demand.
Shevchenko, currently the #1 ranked flyweight contender, who most recently competed at UFC 285 in March this year, where he suffered a final defeat in the fourth round, Shevchenko was introduced by Mexican challenger, Alexa Grasso at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Vegas, Nevada.

23-4 as a pro, Shevchenko suffered her first flyweight loss in her March bout against Grasso earlier this year, having previously racked up nine straight wins since moving up to 125 pounds in 2018.
Shevchenko made his debut by defeating Priscilla Cachoeira via stoppage time, then claimed the vacant flyweight gold in a decision win over former strawweight champion Joanna Jederzejczyk.
