Falling out of the plane in the first moments of swinging is difficult to overcome. The most common mistake here is rolling your hands off target when you start over, sticking the head of the club between your hands and the handle way in front of the front of the club.
try this: Make an arrow out of some cardboard and attach it to the shaft of one of your irons as in the photo above. Position it so that the arrow is pointing in the same direction as the front of the club.
The goal is to start over and get the arrow to point to your target line. That means you’re on board, face square to the track and swing face in to a great start!
