Brendan Allen faces a tough task if he hopes to continue climbing the middleweight ranks.
The All In — currently ranked 13th at 185 pounds in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings — has been added to the UFC Jacksonville card on June 24, where he faces Bruno Silva (23-8).
In his most recent appearance this past February, Allen (21-5) scored an upset win over wrestler Andre Muniz. He’s won four in a row now and six of his last seven to break into the contenders circuit.
Silva recently caught a two-fight skid with a first-round TKO of veteran Brad Taveris. In six matches with the UFC, “Blindado” has a record of 4-2.

Also added to UFC Jacksonville, David Onama fights Gabriel Santos in a featherweight bout (first reported by superhero fights), and signing to the Contender Series, Trevor Peek makes his second appearance when he fights Victor Martinez in a lightweight bout (first reported by MMA orbit).
After their first meeting ended in a disappointing draw, Jimmy Crutt and Alonzo Minifield got their chance to set things right.
The light heavyweights compete in a rematch at UFC 290, which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Their first fight at UFC 284 in February did not raise their hands due to a point deduction in the final round.
Minifield (13-3-1) scored two knockdowns from Crute (12-3-1) in their first meeting, but cost himself a point in the third round when he grabbed the fence to stop a takedown. The scorecards saw one judge have 29-27 for Cards and the other 28-28 with Minifield’s opponent.
Going into that competition, Menifield was on a two-fight streak, while Crute is now chasing his first win since October 2020.
Also officially announced at UFC 290, Shannon Ross (13-7) fights Jesus Aguilar (8-2) at flyweight, Vitor Petrino (8-0) fights Marcin Brachnio (16-6) at light heavyweight, and Camuela Kirk ( 11- 5-0) fights Esteban Ribovic (11-1) at lightweight.
Put another milestone for Andrei Arlovsky.
The former UFC heavyweight champion is set to fight his 40th fight inside the octagon when he faces Don’Tale Mayes (9-5, 1 NC) at UFC Vegas 74 on June 3.
Arlovski (23-15, 1 NC) extends his record for most UFC appearances as a heavyweight as he debuts this year. In 2022, he fought three times, winning a pair of split decisions before being submitted in the first round by Marcos Rogério de Lima in his final round.
Maze ended his campaign in 2023 with a unanimous decision loss to Augusto Sakai. He is seeking his first win since December 2021.
Tim Elliott also competes at UFC Vegas 74 when he fights Mexican Victor Altamirano.
Elliott (18-12-1) coming off a unanimous decision victory over Tagir Ulanbekov. The one-time UFC title challenger has won three of his past four fights and is currently tied for No. 15 at 125 pounds in the World MMA Fighting Rankings.
Altamirano (12-2) has been doing really well since being signed Dana WhiteRivals Series. After dropping a split decision to Carlos Hernandez in his UFC debut, he won twice in a row, outpointing Vinicius Salvador and finishing Daniel Lacerda via knockout.

A flyweight bout between Juancamilo Ronderos and Jafel Filho heads into UFC APEX on July 15.
The Ronderos (4-2) takes on Filho (14-3) at UFC Vegas 77, and both fighters are looking to get back on the winning streak. For the Ronderos, the upcoming UFC will be his first after first-round naked choke losses to Clayton Carpenter and David Dvorak to start his career with the promotion.
Filho also lost his UFC debut, but took the undefeated Muhammed Mukaev to the limit, almost submitting him before having to tap himself in the third round. Prior to that loss, Filho had won five straight fights.

Featherweight’s next assignment for Nathaniel Wood is against one of the longest-surviving opponents in the division.
