After a great weekend of combat sports action, UFC 288 and ONE Fight Night 10 are now in the rear view. Both provided plenty of talking points and discussion points and the MMASucka podcast crew returned to dissect all the main events and give details of the most important moments.

UFC 288 descended from New Jersey and in the main event, Bantamweight Champion, Aljamin Sterling He defended his belt against Al-Awda Henry Cejudo. In a highly competitive fight, the defending champion was able to narrowly pinpoint his opponent for a split decision victory.
Sterling’s wrestling seemed to somewhat surprise Cejudo, who has been knocked down four times, the most in his UFC career so far. Sterling was able to nullify Cejudo, used effective footwork and set up a future fight with Sean O’Malley the next.
Saw the co-main event Belal Muhammad controls Gilbert BurnsAll but book himself as the next contender for the welterweight belt. Muhammad’s backup game seemed tough for Burns to figure out, and he was able to confuse Burns’ thought process and eventually chop him on his feet.
Talking about dismantling an opponent on his feet, a straw star, Yan Xiaonan Scored a massive knockout punch against the former champion, Jessica Andrade. Xiaonan probably hit her ticket to shoot the champ, Zhang Williwhich could happen in China and be a huge battle.
One fight night 10
ONE Fight Night 10 was the promotion’s US debut and it definitely delivered. Demetrius Johnson Triple close with Adriano Morales with a unanimous decision victory in the main event. Sharing each win, Johnson proved he was the better man.
Rudtang He did his Rodtang thing, brutally knocking his opponent down with a rebounding elbow in classic style.
Fairtex seal She continued her lucrative run with a violent finishing body kick on the highly regarded superstar, Alise Anderson.
