Tyson Fury pounced on UFC commentator Joe Rogan, and he didn’t hold back.
The heavyweight boxing champ took to Instagram to blast Rogan on his butt comments, saying that UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones would defeat Fury if he was locked in a room. Rogan said he wouldn’t give Fury a chance to win in Hell.
“I heard Joe Rogan say something about me, I’ve been off all social media and haven’t responded to this little troll, little troll, bald head troll,” Fury said on his Instagram stories. “I heard him say Jon Jones could play me if we were in a room together. I don’t think so.
“A man born of a mother can’t mess with me, in a room, alone. Whatever happens in that room, I’ll get out. Not a f*cking problem.”
Rogan’s comments were made about a month ago as he spoke with fellow comedian Andrew Schultz on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.
“If Jon Jones and Tyson Fury are locked in a room, I black out all my chips,” Rogan said with a laugh. “Let me tell you something, Tyson Fury is a great boxer, (but) he doesn’t have a hell of a chance of getting her out of that room. He doesn’t have a chance of getting her out of that room. Zero chance. He would have to catch John right away with one punch, and I don’t expect that to happen. That, man.”
Despite being in a different sport, Fury has long been associated with the world of MMA.
In recent years, he has teased a potential boxing match with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who is now with the PFL, putting him in the middle of several headlines in the MMA world. He has also posted MMA training videos with former UFC title challenger Darren Till.
Fury comes off a win in December over Derek Chisora, retaining his WBC heavyweight title. Not booked to go back.
