Trevor Peek feels settling into a UFC career after what has been an amazing journey just getting to this point.
Beck had some run-ins with the law and also struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in his younger years.
After cleaning himself up, Beck fell in love with God and the sport of mixed martial arts.
From that moment on, his career was absolutely perfect and last year in 2022, Peek scored a huge win on the regional scene over former UFC fighter Khama Worthy.
The win made him a shot at Dana White’s series bout against Malik Lewis and after a slow start to the fight, Peek came from behind to knock Lewis out and earn a UFC contract.
This moment was special and almost unreal for Peek, but early this year in February I must have been dreaming of the moment that quickly became reality as Peek made his UFC debut.
In his debut, Peek started much faster than he did in the Contender Chain fight as he knocked out his opponent Erick Gonzalez in the first round of their fight.
Peek’s dreams came true when he turned around, made it to the UFC and earned a performance bonus for his first fight.
In fact, his story caught the attention of UFC eight announcer Bruce Buffer, who gave a sneak peek on his podcast after his victory.
There have been a lot of great moments over the past year for Peek and he is blessed with that, but now he has all settled down and now the real hard work begins as Peek wants to make a breakthrough with his career in the UFC.
In order to do that, he’ll need to keep racking up wins and he’ll do so on June 24 at UFC on ABC 5.
Peek is set to face Victor Martinez and he’s expecting a massive performance in that fight.
With the fights taking place in Jacksonville, Florida, Peek 200 will have his family and friends descend on the fight and Peek has always wanted to fight in front of the live UFC crowd because he feels like he’s playing with their energy.
Now he’ll do it and expect a first-round knockout to be added to his record.
Prior to the fight, Peek spoke with MyMMANews about his UFC bout on ABC 5 with Martinez, his preparation for the fight he’s caught hawking at training camp and the huge support staff coming down to Florida to see him fight.
