Toyo Tire Holdings in Europe has renewed its partnership with the AIG Ladies Open, the latest renewal of which will take place at Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey from 10-13 August.
The Japanese tire manufacturer has partnered with the AIG Women’s Open as sponsor and official tire for the fifth consecutive year, returning to its initial support for the tournament when it was held at Woburn in 2019, then at subsequent renewals at Royal Troon in 2020, Carnoustie in 2021 and Muirfield last year.
Colin Beers, Managing Director, Toyo Tire (UK) Limited said: “We are thrilled and excited to be an official sponsor of our fifth year of the Ladies Open. It provides us with a fantastic opportunity to be associated with a sporting event that is revered and enjoyed by millions around the world.”
South Africa’s Ashleigh Bohay is the defending AIG Women’s Open champion after her victory in Scotland in 2022, while this year Walton Heath will be vying not only for the coveted tournament trophy but also for a record $7.3m (£5.7m) prize pool.
