Former flyweight contender Tim Elliott is not happy after the UFC refused to score his family tickets for tonight’s event in Las Vegas.
Elliott (18-12-1 MMA) is set to duel Victor Altamirano (12-2 MMA) on the main card of tonight’s UFC Vegas 74 event (see lineup here).
The fight card takes place at the UFC Apex, which of course has a limited seating capacity for fight fans and the media.
While attendance is limited, Tim Elliott assumed he’d have no problems getting his family into the venue to watch him compete. The 36-year-old had many family members travel in for his fight, but unfortunately, their tickets were turned down by the world’s leading mixed martial artist. promotion.
Elliott recently took to Twitter where he expressed his frustrations on the matter.
Like fighting at the top isn’t bad enough, now we don’t get comp tickets for our family. Literally the only support fighters can get is taken in this building! It would have been nice to know that before flying to Vegas..

“Like fighting at the top isn’t bad enough, now we don’t get comp tickets for our family. Literally the only support fighters can get is taken in this building! That would have been nice to know before people were taken to Vegas..” Elliot wrote.
Tim Elliott, of course, has been in the headlines for the past couple of weeks, after coming to light on accusations that his ex-wife, Gina Mazzani, cheated on him with his close friend and training partner, Kevin Crum.
The former UFC flyweight title contender has explained his decision to air his dirty laundry earlier this week.
“The thing is, I was the only one wearing it. My ex and the guy she’s with now, they were living in my city, dating, and being awesome. Everyone thought we broke up because she said I wanted to force her to move to Texas. I don’t even know what the reasons were, but I didn’t. The reasons are not the real reasons. Elliot He said at UFC Vegas 74 media day. “I would then come up to my town, where I live, and where my home is, and people would tell me they heard me and Gina break up because of this, and every interview, they would ask me, How is Gina, how are you doing and I lie and make excuses to protect these guys. Every time I was doing it, it was hurting me, after he got out there, nobody asked me anymore.”
What do you think of the news that the UFC has refused to include Tim Elliott’s family with tickets to tonight’s event in Las Vegas?
