Arnold Palmer Call
Kurt Kitayama (Chervo & Boxto Golf)
Kurt Kitayama is the first player I’ve seen lift the boot Buxto Golf shoes. Keith Mitchell and Max McGreevy are listed as brand ambassadors but neither has moved away from FootJoy yet. Apparently, the shoe switcher was exactly what Kitayama needed as he captured his first title on the PGA Tour. More important (to me) than the $3.6 million check he received is his growing stature as one of the best players in the game. Chervo It’s always been my favorite brand, and pairing luxury Italian apparel with chic, handmade golf shoes was just the move Kourt needed to join the Threadies conversation.
Here’s a little known fact about you…. Court is known for having some of the biggest quads in golf. Some people have even started calling him “The Quad-father”. He claims that one of the many reasons he loves Chervo clothing is that the tug in their pants can actually accommodate his thicker legs.
Keith Mitchell (Sid Mashburn & FootJoy)
Stylistically, Keith Mitchell is closest to Arnold Palmer…
Justin Thomas (Greyson Clothiers & FootJoy)
…with a second JT close by.
Billy Horschel (RLX Golf & FootJoy)
I’ve been told that from now on, all Ralph Lauren Golf apparel will be under the RLX umbrella. This is the first time I’ve seen the double cylinder Ralph Lauren logos on a T-shirt; Polo “Horse” and RLX.
Gary Woodland (Puma Golf)
Puma has always done a very thoughtful tribute to the King with its Puma x Arnold Palmer collection. Unique printing and personal details on Palmer Place Polo Bold as show me.
Tri Moulinex (Stitch Golf & Footjoy)
I am so excited to play Footjoy Hyperflex Carbon When golf season returns here in New England. This is the best sneaker FJ has ever designed. Add in a molded carbon fiber board for round-level stability and an OptiFlex sole for comfort and we could be looking at the perfect shoe for the 18-hole walk.
Trey really dig Stitch Golf Everglade Key Polo, also. The color block makes it a statement piece for your wardrobe. And Stitch offers a medium/large size that fits me perfectly!
As an aside, please don’t hesitate to ask Greg or Lee for sizing recommendations if you’re considering new golf apparel. Between us, we’ve worn just about everything. Leave a comment below or send us a direct message Instagram.
Rory McIlroy (Nike Golf)
First of all, Rory looks gorgeous in pink. Secondly, this Polo Dry Fit Camo Golf From the Nike Tour Collection, which means you’ll be wearing the same brand of Nike-sponsored golf apparel. New this year, you’ll find the iconic Swoosh logo across both the left chest and right shoulder blade on Nike Tour apparel.
Xander Schavelli (Adidas Golf)
Adidas continues to lead the sustainability initiative in golf apparel. this Polo 89% Recycled Nylon! The all-over layer graphic makes this shirt unique and environmentally friendly.
Thomas Dietry (Hugo Boss & G / FORE)
It’s all in the details, folks. Contrasting Lines (Glow in the Dark) on Thomas Detree Hugo Boss Pique Polo Match his tangerines G / FORE golf glove completely. Leader move, in fact.
Jordan Spieth (Under Armour)
I thought the outline was in the upper half of the Jordan Polo UA Playoff 3.0 Stripe It made him look wider all over his shoulders and chest. If you have a slimmer design and want to create the illusion of a tapered “V” shape, try a design like this one.
Danny Willett (Descente Golf & FootJoy)
What is the difference between jealousy and envy? Regardless, I would like a Danny offspring! Is this a sin??
Puerto Rico Open
Nico Echavarria (original Penguin and FootJoy)
As pumped as I’ve been about Kurt Kitayama and Chervo, I’m equally optimistic about Nico Echavarria and his partnership with Original Penguin. These are two of the best men in golf attire and it was great to see them rock out.
Eric Van Rooyen (Greyson Clothiers & FootJoy)
Most golf fans were too busy watching the API and missed out on the story behind the Puerto Rico Open.
As usual, the EVR stole the show. Grison’s poles caught fire.
right?!
Ricky Barnes (G/FORE)
This is G / FORE The Icon Camo Tech Polo exploded The camouflage print will never blend in! He is a bad ass.
Brandon Harkins (Johnny-O and Footjoy)
I can’t locate this Johnny polo shirt anywhere, but the all-over print makes me think of Cape Cod. And the thought of wearing them Johnny-O On Cape Cod in just a few months it makes me very happy.
Chris Stroud (William Murray Golf & FootJoy)
In keeping with the Cape Cod theme, Polo William Murray is called Golf one tie on It will test your marine knowledge. This “intricate” print is a collection of nautical knots. Forward captain!
