The 2022-23 NHL season ended two weeks ago today, as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Florida Panthers in five games to win the Stanley Cup.
With the finals over, there is no hockey left until the fall. However, we’re already looking ahead to next season with the Toronto Maple Leafs releasing their 2023-24 regular season schedule today along with the rest of the NHL.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will open the 2023-24 campaign at home against their taller rivals, the Montreal Canadiens, on Oct. 11 with a downed puck at 7:00 PM ET. They will start their season on a small court (three games) against the Canadiens, Wild and Blackhawks.
Their first game will be against their former general manager, Kyle Dupas, on November 25 in Pittsburgh at 7:00 PM ET. Dubas’ return to Toronto isn’t until mid-December when the Penguins visit Toronto on the 16th at 7:00 PM ET.
Toronto will close out the 2023-24 season with four of its last five games on the road. The last two games are on the road in Florida, April 1st against the Panthers at 7:00 PM ET and April 3 against the Lightning at 7:00 PM ET also.
The Maple Leafs also announced their 2023-24 preseason schedule. there he is:
Sept. 24: @ Ottawa – 2pm ET
Sept. 25: vs. Ottawa – 7 p.m. ET
Sept. 27: vs. Buffalo – TBD
September 29: @Monrteal – TBD
September 30: @ Montreal – TBA
October 2: Montreal game – 7 p.m. ET
Oct. 6: Detroit game – 7 p.m. ET
October 7th: @ Detroit – 7pm ET
The team announced in the statement that “more details including ticketing, broadcast information, and the team’s training camp schedule will be released at a later date,” so for now, we have both the preseason and regular season schedule.
