France defender Benjamin Mendy began hearings on Monday at Chester Magistrates Court as part of his second trial in England.
As a reminder, this case relates to two sexual assaults allegedly committed at the home of the former Manchester City player, in 2018 and 2020, respectively. When first asking Benjamin Mindy about the difficulty of meeting women who simply want to have sex with him, he was blunt. “I’m not arrogant but it wasn’t difficult.”He explained while admitting that his notoriety had something to do with it.
The accused was then questioned about the first complainant he was going to approach that evening. “We hugged each other. I never wanted to pierce her or force her to do anything.”reassured the 2018 world champion before specifying that she was furious when he offered her sex. Embarrassed by the presence of a friend of the player, this person would have left the room according to Mindy’s testimony.
Mandy completely denies it
Ms. Luz, a former France international barrister, then addressed her client. “Did you pick her up on the floor, force her to bed or pierce her vagina or anus?” “no”Simply replied Mandy. The latter was then interrogated by Prosecutor Benjamin Aina. “What I’m suggesting is that you weren’t used to women saying, ‘I don’t want to sleep with you.’ You wanted women who would come to your house to party. And have sex?”. “if they want it”Then the former Manchester City defender replied. He was also accused of committing six counts of rape and other sexual assault, and the court acquitted itself last January.
