At this week’s 2023 US Open at Los Angeles Country Club, the game’s MVP is swarming at the top of the betting odds list, but we’re eyeing the former PGA champion as our long pick to win. Here’s our pick, US open betting odds, betting favorites, and everything else you need to know for the week.
US Open Odds: Long Range Bet
For the third of the year, we’re putting our long money on main champion Keegan Bradley, who opens the week with a +8000 win probability.
2011 PGA Championship winner Bradley has seen a return to form over the past two years, amassing 10 top-10 finishes with half a season left to play.
He also broke a long drought by winning the Zozo Championship in October and added a runner-up at the Farmers Insurance Open in February.
At last year’s US Open, fueled by a hometown crowd, Bradley earned a T7, the second US top-10 of his career.
Bradley has finished T23 at the 2023 Masters Championship and T29 at the PGA Championship. Although he scored a T30 on his last start at the Memorial, he was in contention for victory until a devastating 78 on Sunday ended his hopes. This has been a common theme for Bradley this season, as he plays well but is undone by one bad run.
If he fixes the ship and stays hot for four days in a row, he can easily win this week. If you bet $10 on him to do this and he does, you’ll walk away with $800. For additional insurance bets, consider placing small bets on Bradley for a Top 10 and Top 20 finish.
Looking for more long shots to bet on? The honorable mentions for this week are Adam Scott (+6600) and Ricky Fowler (+6600).
US Open Odds: The Candidates
We’re back in the main tournament area, and as a result, the game’s biggest and brightest stars are at the top of the list.
Scotty Scheffler is leading the way as the bet favorite to claim his maiden US Open title at +700. World No. 2 John Rahm was second with a +1000 chance of winning, followed by PGA Champion Brooks Koepka at +1100.
Rory McIlroy, who had another disappointing Sunday in contention at the Canadian Open, is fourth with +1200 odds of winning.

How did the long shot work last week
Winner, winner! For last week’s RBC Canadian Open, we took Canadian veteran Nick Taylor to be our long pick, and for the first time this season, we pulled it off.
But our pick wasn’t very interesting after the first round. Taylor opened with a disappointing triple 75, leaving him T120 looking to make an early exit.
But then he put together a rally for the ages that will be long remembered in Canadian sports lore. Taylor shot 67 on the second day to take the lead to T47. Then on Saturday, he broke the course record with a nine-under 63 to temporarily take the lead, eventually being overtaken by CT Pan, who finished the round three in lead at 14-under, three shots ahead of Taylor.
On Sunday, Taylor put up another par, making birdie in the final two holes to shoot a 66 and force a playoff with Tommy Fleetwood.
In the fourth round playoff after a tense battle, Taylor sank a heroic 72-foot eagle putt on the 18th to seal his victory (and ours).
