Terrence Crawford dismisses the trash talk
Crawford has recently been a guest on the MMA fighting“MMA Hour.” During the interview with Ariel Helwani, Bud said fight fans know how big this match is. As a result, he feels that unacceptable talk is unnecessary.
“I think this fight sells for itself,” said Crawford. “I don’t think Errol or I should go out and do things that aren’t in our character just to sell the fight. When you look at the fight, you’re like, ‘Well, you’ve got two undefeated fighters, out of the top five pound-for-pound in their prime, They go head to head for the undisputed welterweight championship of the world. Fighters full of action. What more do you need? I don’t need him to go out there, act crazy. I don’t need him to go out there, act crazy just to sell a fight. The fight will sell itself because Everyone knows what will come to fight them.”
Crawford’s comments shouldn’t come as a surprise to “sweet science” fans. After all, Crawford and Spence weren’t known to talk trash. They let their skills in the ring do the talking.
