The Washington Capitals fell to the New York Rangers by a score of 2-1 in a Sunday matinee at Madison Square Garden. The loss dropped the Capitals’ record to 20-15-6 and 46 points on the season. Goaltender Charlie Lindgren made 29 in the loss.
