According to a report from Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, the Suns are scheduled to hold a free agent workout on Wednesday, featuring standout players Jabari Parker and Stanley Johnson. This exercise presents an opportunity for both players to showcase their skills and potentially earn a spot on the Suns roster for the upcoming season.
Johnson, a 27-year-old forward, split the 2022-2023 season between the Spurs and the J-League Sioux Falls Force. In 30 games with San Antonio, Johnson averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
Parker, 28, has had a turbulent journey in recent years. After signing with the Celtics in April 2021, he was waived and then re-signed after off waivers. However, Parker was again waived by Boston in January 2022 and has been without a team since then.
With the Suns hosting this free agent workout, they are looking to add depth and talent to their roster.
