The monkey sees the monkey does.
The second part?
Windham Clark is a game. After all, the concept—players get hot together—helped him take a two-shot lead through three rounds at the Wells Fargo tournament. On Saturday at Quail Hollow Club, Clarke fired a powerful eight-under putt of 63 that just hit teammate Xander Schauffele, who shot 64.
And it can go on. Yes, Schauffele is the number two quarterback, and he and Clark made the ultimate pairing. They leave at 1:30 in the afternoon
But is “hot procreation sexy” really a thing? You bet, said Schavel.
To explain himself, he added the sentence we used above.
“I feel like I’ve said it before in interviews — you just see someone do that,” he said. “Luckily it was the guy next to me who I played all day. Once these guys here see someone do it, they end up doing it. Like when it’s really cold and rainy, you feel like, man, I feel like 3 Under is going to be A good score, and then someone shoots a seven-under and then suddenly three-under in like 30. So the guys are really good here.
“Monkey see, monkey do is definitely something going on here.”
Clark hopes it will all work out.
“Because it was so much fun,” he said.
